If a new Dodge Dart is selling something like original, Chrysler will have a small car hit him with their needs.
Recreated compact, launched at the Detroit auto show Monday, unlike his predecessor from the 1960s and ‘ 70s but Chrysler rely on arrows, and his name is zippy, to help sell the smaller car and proceed with a revival recently.
Instead of the original line was a bit boxy, Dart has a sleek new demeanour modern muscle car, with short hoods and fenders, the length of the roof slightly flared. And this is based on the frame and suspension hatchback Alfa Romeo crisp-handling brought by owners of Chrysler, Fiat SpA, Italy.
Dart also is an important test of the Chrysler-Fiat Alliance, one of which is aimed at saving millions of dollars by reusing the Fiat engine and frame, technology, and yet provide American style with more space for people and equipment. Dart is the first designed with Chrysler by the company.
Chrysler, which ran out of cash and must be redeemed by the Government in 2009, saw sales jump 26 percent last year, and it is ready to change the first annual profit since 1997.
