WTA, ESPN sign multi

, October 25, 2011-The women’s Tennis Association and ESPN had agreed to the deal six years through 2016, adding 150 women’s tennis life hours per year for the coverage. “

The agreement complements the company’s broadcasting tennis coverage as one of the Board for coverage of the event for great sports WTA ESPN3.

“ESPN long-time tennis fans in the United States, and we are pleased to continue to partner with them to provide increased coverage of world class women’s tennis on ESPN’s multiple platforms,” said Stacey Allaster, CEO of the WTA.

New deal gives rights to ESPN WTA season, WTA Championship and main activity (including preliminary matches at the heart of the season).

This coverage begins with the choice of new Tuesday round robin Championship WTA 2011 in Istanbul. The semifinals and final match will air as well.
